So just fight all the enemies you can before that fight by seeking out those demon scrolls!If you haappen to have missed any clay enemies (the Clay Flyer is the only one not found in devil trial gate caves) there are demon scrolls that spawn them on the Ark of Yamato AKA point of no return, so make sure you’ve got the rest of your bestiary in good shape before boarding, simply revisitone of the rooms on the ark after defeating a boss and it will be replaced by a demon scroll with clay enemies. They can be found either hidden around in Treasure Chests or as a reward for completing a certain task such as a Mini Game.Most of the ones found in Treasures Chests are buried underground so you must be diligent when exploring.
