Lego Rock Band Ps3 Song List

I was very excited when this was mentioned on the gaming sites because my very young son loves to play rockband but can't do much. I would turn the no fail option on in rock band 2 and it still wasnt fun because he couldnt really do much otherwise, it was just too fast for him. I got Lego rock band when i heard they had super easy mode avaialble for the guitar and drums and it works great, my 2 year old son can play the drums while I play guitar and he stays at the top of the rating bar and actually plays (because all you have to do is hit any of the four color pads in sync with the upcoming notes regardless of what color is on the screen). You can also play in rock challeneges in which how you play determines what happens, great fun for kids and adults to watch whats going on in the background and you unlock so many new things after each song and gig, it's very worth it for anyone who enjoys the cute lego characters and the rock band games or has younger kids that can't play too well in the usual versions.

Lego Rock Band is a fun and interesting take on Rock Band. It is very much the meeting of Rock Band and the popular Lego-based video games (like Lego Batman and Indiana Jones).The one thing that is bothersome to me is the limitation on what downloadable content is available to be played. While I am always in favor of parental controls being available (and some of the Rock Band downloads are certainly not appropriate for kids), I'm not in favor of the game deciding that I cannot use that content at all. An on/off feature in the game would have been much more appropriate here.If you are not planning to have any other Rock Band games, you will be pleased with this purchase.

On the 360 and PS3, songs from the Rock Band Store that Harmonix determines are 'suitable for all ages' import automatically into LEGO Rock Band. LEGO Rock Band contains its own music store interface that only shows songs that are stated as being 'family friendly' and that work with that game. LEGO Rock Band does a great job of tailoring the core rhythm gameplay to its intended audience. And if you've ever been a fan of LEGOs and have even a passing interest in music games, you'll have.

If you are not intending to have an extensive downloaded song collection, this games is a fine choice. But if you are an adult. I would just recommend buying it cheap. And just exporting the songs to play with RB2.
